The Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) today announced
new policy guidelines to facilitate Chain-of-Custody (CoC) certification
of groups of small wood-harvesting, processing, and retail operators.
Group CoC certification is intended as a tool to facilitate greater
access to the FSC certification system by mitigating audit costs
as a barrier to participation.
